(S) avis, finalist in the Zapping Awards
Last February 25 took place the Zapping Awards, which every year recognize the best television programs were delivered. This year, (S) avis , produced by UNDATIA Communication and Television of Catalonia was shortlisted as best informative cultural program.
The event this year was attended by numerous political authorities and personalities from the world of communication and culture, as well as the presenters themselves and professional finalists. UNDATIA and (S) avis program were represented by UNDATIA's CEO and presenter of the program, Josep Puigbó; the program coordinator, Anna Bonet; and UNDATIA's executive director, Salvador Solé.
The Zapping Awards is an award with a long and distinguished path. This year the twentieth edition of the awards was celebrated every year are consolidated as one of the reference prizes in the field of television. The ceremony was presented and hosted by the journalists Lluís Marquina and Georgina Pujol, presenters of Generació Digital and Quèquicom, respectively.
These awards recognize the quality of programs regardless of the audience they may have. The choice of winners is the result of the vote of viewers in Catalonia that can freely enter the website of the Consumers Association of Audiovisual Media (TAC) and propose and vote programs throughout the Spanish state that they would be worthy a prize in different categories. Once closed these votes, members of TAC vote finalists. In the last stage, a team of professional prestige of audiovisual jury appoints the winners.
Despite not winning the award, (S) avis has established itself as a reference program in the Catalan public television. The program, which have already made 5 seasons, airs Wednesdays at 22.00 on channel 33 and Sunday at midnight by TV3. It has collected more than 60 interviews to people who have played a key role in our recent history.
Therefore, from UNDATIA Communication we are doubly pleased: (S) avis has established itself as an interesting program and loved by the audience, and they consider themselves worthy of an award!
